The ‘Attitudes’ Workshop (SOLD OUT) Location: Walker Memorial Hall, Address: 18 Ampton Rd, Birmingham B15 2UJ Date: Saturday 9th March 2024 Time: 10am to 1pm You are warmly invited to attend a workshop/study day at Walker Memorial Hall on 9th March from 10am – 1pm, it is also open to any of your family or friends who you think may be interested. The theme for the day is Attitudes. How important is our attitude? How can attitudes negatively affect the situations we are in? How can a change of attitude help us retain balance and have a more positive experience? We will also discuss the 4 attitudes that will enhance our life experiences. The workshop will be run by Debbie Nock, with tea, coffee and biscuits available in the refreshment break. The cost will be £10 to include refreshments. Many people have a natural desire for peace, happiness, and stillness in life, perhaps a sense of being centred. Especially as external situations in the world seem to be getting more turbulent. The great wisdom traditions of the world teach that peace, happiness, and stillness are naturally available to us in all situations, however, accessing these desired states may be difficult without knowledge, experience, and practice. So, at the workshop we shall: Practice a mindful awareness exercise. Discuss: How we lose a sense of peace and stillness. How we can regain it and maintain it.
